Location-wise, it sits down a long, single-track lane, meaning you're quite cut off from shops or pubs, necessitating taxis for dining options. The absence of an on-site shower can be inconvenient for those who prefer quick refreshes instead of soaking in a bath.

Room doors that don’t lock properly!!! Need more options for controlling room temperature!!! A dedicated shower in the bathroom would be a significant improvement!!!

Had a fantastic group vacation with friends! The atmosphere was welcoming, and we loved the quirky decor. We visited the nearby restaurant and enjoyed some great stories from the owners. Breakfast was top-notch, with a variety of options that hit the spot. Definitely recommend for a fun getaway.
Unfortunately, dinner wasn't available on site as stated, leading us to take a taxi instead.

Perfect for indulging and unwinding
The King's Chamber room was pure luxury, the gold rolltop bath right in the middle was something else, an absolute indulgence! it had thoughtful touches like the prosecco on arrival and even a chessboard to play with while we settled in.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Charming Retreat with Lovely Hosts
Just spent a night at this cozy spot. Jule and Hugh were super welcoming, greeted us with Prosecco, and the breakfast was delish! The decor was quirky and unique. We loved the outdoor dining area for our evening drinks! Only wish the bridal suite had a bit more privacy, but overall a fab experience.
